We are looking for a Legal Counsel (Litigation) to join our growing legal team. This person will answer and manage court claims against the company, conciliations, and employment court cases. He will also be responsible for providing legal support in the employment field to the human resources department. In this role, you will liaise with other legal team members. How your day to day would look like... 🧐
Answer court cases on common civil issues based on standard templates already created.
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes in case law in the usual types of court cases.
Extraction and preparation of documentation for court cases.
Manage cases at CMAC or in Employment Courts.
Provide legal support to the “People team” related to employment queries.
Advice and drafting of employment documents: employment contract clauses, dismissals, etc.
Follow-up of deadlines and steps to be taken in ongoing legal actions.

Bachelor’s degree in Law and a practising lawyer.
Strong knowledge and understanding of employment law.
Strong knowledge of procedural law, especially civil procedural law. Bankruptcy law is a plus.
Knowledge about the Civil Law.
Demonstrable experience (5+ years) in handling employment matters, including acting in CMAC or Courts.
Demonstrable experience (5+ years) in attending civil or commercial courts cases.
Organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
