About the role 🤓

As the Optical Services Manager, you will be the driving force behind empowering and training our clients' optical stores for the successful launch of their subscription services. Your leadership will ensure that these stores are not just ready but fully equipped to thrive, setting the stage for a remarkable customer experience from day one. This pivotal role involves conducting online and in-person training sessions across Spain and crafting a comprehensive training toolkit. As we grow, you will also have the exciting opportunity to design a scalable training model that adapts to our expanding needs (e.g., e-learning, trainer certification, or outsourcing).

Job requirements

What challenges you'll be solving 🚀

  • Training Model Design: Develop and refine a scalable, effective  training model for optical businesses, ensuring it is tailored to their needs and supports the success of its subscription business.

  • Training Development: Conduct online and in-person training sessions across Spain to provide optical store staff with the commercial and technical knowledge and skills needed to excel in the subscription business.

  • Influence Through Training: Equip our clients’ optical stores with persuasive and engaging training that not only ensures a thorough understanding of the subscription service but also highlights its benefits for both their customers and themselves. 

  • Store Performance: Monitor store performance on a daily basis, providing the necessary support to optimize their operations and enhance overall subscription business performance.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop the training toolkit, incorporating essential materials that resonate with and inspire optical store teams.

What you’ll need 🫱🏼‍🫲🏽

  • Proven experience in the optical industry, with an in-depth understanding of optical products, services, and store operations that allows you to relate to and connect with our clients effectively.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear and engaging training delivery, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.

  • Strong empathy and relationship-building skills to connect with trainees and understand their needs, along with the ability to provide constructive feedback and support to enhance learning.

  • Skills in assessing training effectiveness and measuring outcomes, with the ability to gather feedback and implement data-driven improvements to training programs.

  • Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple training initiatives and timelines, coordinating effectively with various teams and stakeholders.

  • Experience in creating training programs, materials, and resources, with familiarity in different training methodologies (e-learning, in-person training, workshops, etc.).

  • Native Spanish speaker; fluent in English is a plus.
