About the role 🤓

As a People Ops & Payroll Specialist, you will ownthe entire payroll cycle end-to-end within our organization. You will work directly with our employees and multiple departments within the company and contribute to strategic people operational projects. 


Job requirements

What challenges you'll be solving 🚀

  • Run monthly payroll start‑to‑finish in‑house, guaranteeing every salary, bonus, and benefit is 100 % accurate and on time.

  • Efficiently manage company registrations, terminations, modifications, medical leaves, and workplace accidents.

  • Quickly anticipate and resolve any payroll issues or discrepancies, while providing transparent communication and attentive support to both employees and management.

  • Maintain close collaboration with various stakeholders across the company, ensuring open and effective communication with all, including employees and managers.

  • Stay up-to-date with labor matters and payroll laws in order to diligently remain compliant and provide advisory support.

  • Provide effective management of labor documentation records, ensuring they are maintained and updated.

  • Oversee the control of immigration files, 111 and 190 forms, and manage income tax withholdings (IRPF) to ensure full regulatory compliance.

  • Carefully prepare and communicate contracts and remuneration reports.

  • Ensure strategic tracking of international profiles regarding payroll and compliance.

  • Support in HRIS system implementation

  • Attend to the inquiries and needs of the employees

What you’ll need 🙌

  • Proven experience scaling a tech company from 300-400 employees to 1,000+ employees

  • At least 8–10 years in Talent Acquisition (tech + business) with 4+ years in leadership roles driving large-scale expansion

  • Direct tech recruiting experience - ideally having worked as a tech recruiter yourself and/or led large-scale technical hiring

  • Deep understanding of tech roles (Engineering, Product, Data, etc.) and the ability to speak credibly with hiring managers and candidates

  • Global hiring experience across multiple geographies

  • Strong network in the tech ecosystem to help attract exceptional talent

  • Proven success designing Talent Acquisition strategies and building hiring structures for future growth

  • Data-driven mindset, using metrics to optimize hiring and team performance.

  • Experience building and implementing internal mobility programs.

  • Fluent English (Spanish a plus)

  • Strong influencing skills to challenge the status quo and elevate current practices

  • Experience implementing and scaling TA tools and systems for growth
