About the role 🤓

As a Risk Analyst, you will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks to our company's operations and financial stability. You should possess a logical mindset, analytical curiosity, and a strong technical interest. With your extensive experience, you are expected to take the lead and autonomously evaluate our credit risk processes and uncover opportunities to further improve and optimize our risk results.   • Analyze complex data sets to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies that can inform risk optimization strategies.

  • Develop and implement innovative risk management protocols to enhance our company's resilience.

  • Collaborate closely with product and business teams to ensure risk optimization aligns with delivering outstanding customer experiences.

  • Communicate analytical insights and advice to stakeholders and senior decision-makers in a timely and actionable manner.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk optimization measures and recommend adjustments to drive continuous improvement.

  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and advancements in risk management practices and technologies to maintain our competitive edge

What you’ll need 🫱🏼‍🫲🏽

  • 3-5 years of experience in credit risk analysis or a related field, preferably in the financial services industry.

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, computer science, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.

  • Fluency in English, Spanish is a plus.

  • Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to think critically and problem-solve.

  • Proficiency in SQL and Python preferred, or advanced Excel skills.

  • A logical mindset and a natural curiosity for uncovering the root causes of problems.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and manage high-pressure situations effectively.
