What you'll do 🚀

  • Develop and maintain data pipelines using ETL processes.

  • Design data flows to enable scaling and repeatable use.

  • Optimize the code to ensure processes perform optimally.

  • Ensure data consistency and accuracy through data validation and cleansing techniques.

  • Support data-versioning processes.

  • Work closely with data science team to implement data analytics pipelines.

  • Communicate with a team of data scientists, data engineers and business leads, document the processes.

Job requirements

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Physics, or related field.

  • 5+ years experience with ETL processes, data modeling, and data lake concepts.

  • Proficient in SQL, Python, Pyspark and Java.

  • Experience with big data technologies like Terraform, Spark, and Kafka.

  • Solid experience orchestrating data pipelines with Airflow.

  • Experience with AWS services such as Athena, Redshift, EMR, Elasticsearch.

  • Experience with software development best practices, such as version control, testing, CI/CD and automation.

  • Ability to understand tolls used by data scientists and of ML&AI techniques.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
