About the role 🤓
As the sole UX Researcher, this role will lead and manage all research initiatives of shopper experience, ensuring that well-structured, high-quality insights inform product and design decisions. The UX Researcher will collaborate closely with product designers, product managers, customer care, and data to align research with business goals and the end-to-end shopper experience.
The UX Researcher will own, standardise, evangelise and support teams with research practices, directly handling research activities when expertise or bandwidth is required. Additionally, will help establish a framework for continuous discovery in the shopper teams to ensure that user insights consistently inform decision-making.

Develop and nurture structured shopper profiles, integrating qualitative and quantitative insights to create a deeper understanding of our users.
Research will uncover shopper needs, motivations, and behaviors, ensuring that our products align with real user expectations and are engaging.
Establish research best practices, ensuring structured, high-quality insights that guide decision-making.Embed a continuous discovery process, ensuring that research insights drive informed, data-backed product decisions.
Research will go beyond benchmarking, providing a deeper analysis of competitor strategies and shopper segments, keeping SeQura ahead in the market. By addressing these challenges, a UX Researcher will ensure that SeQura builds smarter, shopper-centered products while improving research efficiency across teams.

What you’ll need
Lead and Structure Research Efforts: Develop a scalable research strategy to ensure consistency, reliability, and accessibility of research. Research Roadmap and maintain a centralized research repository to facilitate reference and reuse
Guide & Support Product Designers in Research: Conduct research directly when designers have limited bandwidth or when complex studies require deeper expertise. Provide best practices, methodologies, and templates.
Conduct Competitor and Market Research: Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and consumer behavior shifts. Provide insights that help teams differentiate the product.
Create a Continuous Discovery Framework: Establish ongoing research practices so insights are continuously gathered, rather than only for specific projects.
Influence the Product Roadmap with Data-Driven Insights: Ensure product decisions align with real shopper needs, driving engagement and retention.
Strengthen Collaboration Across Teams.
Build and maintain Shopper Personas: Develop detailed personas based on research, customer feedback, and analytics
Foster a Research-Driven Culture: Make research a core part of decision-making by providing guidance, training, and advocacy. Share findings proactively through reports, presentations, and team discussions.
