Job description

About seQura

seQura provides innovative, flexible and easy-to-use payment technologies that help merchants acquire, convert and retain more customers.

We make a difference in sales performance by tailoring our solutions to different sectors, to address their unique pain points and deliver superior results in Retail, Education, Eyewear, Repairs and Travel.

We also empower smart shopping to consumers who seek more value, convenience, and flexibility in their shopping, with new payment experiences that allow them to save, access interest-free credit, or pay in small, comfortable installments of up to 24 months.

Born in Barcelona, seQura is a privately-owned fintech, currently expanding throughout southern Europe and Latin America, growing above 50% CAGR.
Over 6000 businesses, almost 3 million shoppers, and almost 400 employees continue to rate us as one of the most loved and trusted fintechs out there, with an NPS of 87%, a Trustpilot rating of 4.7/5, and a Glassdoor rating of 4.1/5.

About the role 🤓

We are redesigning how hiring works at seQura.

We have moved away from a traditional, recruiter-led model towards a decentralised hiring model where managers own and lead their hiring processes. It is the right model for where we are going, but decentralisation only works when managers have the skills, systems, data and confidence to hire exceptionally well.

That is where you come in.

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Enablement Lead to build the engine behind this model and help transform how hiring happens across seQura.

This is not a traditional recruiting role. You won't own a portfolio of vacancies or spend your days managing processes on behalf of hiring managers. Instead, you will coach managers to become stronger hirers, design the frameworks and standards they operate within, and use technology, data and AI to make hiring faster, smarter and more consistent.

With approximately 100 hires planned over the next 12 months across 6+ countries, this is a role with significant visibility and impact. You will have the opportunity to shape a hiring model that can scale internationally while protecting the quality of every hiring decision we make.

We are looking for someone who combines three things exceptionally well: deep recruiting expertise, the ability to coach and influence senior stakeholders, and genuine fluency in how AI and technology are changing Talent Acquisition.

📍 Location & ways of working: This role is based in Barcelona and follows our hybrid working model, typically 3 days per week in the office and 2 days working from home. This is not a remote position, so please apply only if you are currently based in Barcelona or willing to relocate and can commit to this hybrid setup.

Job requirements

What challenges will you be solving 🚀

  • Make decentralised hiring work at scale: turn our new hiring model into a consistent, high-quality way of working across teams and countries, defining clear standards, frameworks and accountability.

  • Turn managers into great hirers: coach and challenge hiring managers to become increasingly autonomous and confident in sourcing, interviewing, assessing and making strong hiring decisions.

  • Lead the change, not just the process: drive adoption of new ways of working, identify where the model is creating friction, and use data and feedback to continuously improve it.

  • Build an AI-first approach to Talent Acquisition: identify, test and implement AI-powered tools and workflows that make sourcing, assessment and recruiting operations faster and smarter.

  • Own our recruiting technology ecosystem: lead the evolution of our ATS, including implementations, integrations and migrations, and ensure workflows, automation and reporting support our hiring model at scale.

  • Build hiring capability across the organisation: create practical training, playbooks and resources on structured interviewing, bias, candidate assessment, sourcing, AI and hiring best practices.

  • Own hiring quality and data: establish reliable metrics, protect data integrity and bring an independent Talent perspective to critical hiring decisions.

  • Build our future talent pipeline: lead our graduate, internship and early-career programmes, developing strong partnerships with universities and talent communities.

  • Strengthen how we attract talent: continuously improve our employee referral programme and partner with Employer Branding on campaigns, careers presence, events and talent attraction.

What you'll need 🤝

  • 6+ years of strong, hands-on Talent Acquisition experience, with significant experience hiring both technology and business profiles.

  • Enough recruiting depth and credibility to coach experienced hiring managers and challenge senior leaders when necessary.

  • Demonstrated experience leading change or transformation within Talent Acquisition, particularly when introducing new operating models, processes or ways of working.

  • Strong coaching and facilitation skills, with evidence of having developed hiring capability in managers rather than simply recruiting on their behalf.

  • Deep familiarity with modern recruiting technology and hands-on experience implementing, migrating or significantly redesigning an ATS.

  • Advanced, practical use of AI in Talent Acquisition. We are looking for someone who already experiments with and uses AI extensively, not someone who is simply interested in learning about it.

  • Strong understanding of recruiting analytics and the ability to turn data into decisions and behavioural change.

  • Experience designing or running graduate, internship or early-career programmes.

  • High autonomy and the ability to turn an ambiguous problem into a practical solution.

  • The ability to influence without authority and build credibility across very different stakeholder groups.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish. Additional European languages are highly valued.

What we offer 😎

We have a strong and sustainable foundation where we provide a secure and reliable workplace. You have the freedom and trust to make the best contribution possible.

  • A role with direct, visible impact: in 12 months you will have changed how seQura hires.

  • Exposure to the whole company: you will work with managers across every function and every market.

  • 23 vacation days + 2 days of free disposal per year.

  • Professional development workshops and seminars.

  • Flexible compensation plan for transportation, restaurants, and kindergarten with Cobee.

  • Health insurance discounts with Sanitas and Adeslas.

  • Urban mobility support via Kleta.

  • Free access to healthy, organic, and sustainable fruits.

  • Wellness Programme covering 6 areas: occupational, physical, financial, emotional, social, and environmental.
