About the role 🤓
We’re looking for a Treasury Analyst to join our Finance & Treasury team in Barcelona and help keep SeQura’s financial operations running smoothly across our markets. This is a hands-on role covering financiers, cash flow, bank reconciliations, merchant and receivables follow-up, and expense control, while also looking for ways to simplify, improve and automate processes. You’ll work closely with teams across SeQura, as well as banks, merchants and external partners, giving you broad exposure to the business and ownership of processes end to end. The role is ideal for someone with a strong finance foundation who enjoys understanding the details, challenging how things are done and finding better, more scalable ways of working.
Job requirements
What challenges you'll be solving 🚀
Own and manage day-to-day treasury operations, ensuring accurate and timely execution across SeQura’s markets.
Perform bank transfer reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
Monitor and reconcile cash flows, providing analysis and visibility over cash movements.
Manage disconnected merchants, following up on outstanding issues and ensuring appropriate resolution.
Support legal processes and merchant bankruptcy cases, coordinating with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
Manage debt recovery activities, including rejected AR invoices and manual invoicing processes.
Reconcile and monitor travel expenses, including weekly follow-up on outstanding items.
Identify opportunities to automate, simplify and improve treasury and finance processes.
Lead process improvement and automation initiatives from idea through implementation, working with teams such as IT, Product, Legal and Operations where required.
Continuously look for ways to improve data quality, reduce manual work and make financial operations more scalable.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in treasury or similarly analytical role in a high-growth fintech, SaaS, lending, or other complex environment.
Strong bias for action, with the ability to turn ambiguity into clear structure, decisions, and adopted solutions.
Systems thinker with strong analytical rigor and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to translate complexity into clear business insight.
Active use of AI tools in day-to-day work, not just awareness, but genuine integration into how you work. Someone who has already replaced manual tasks with automation and who keeps looking for the next one.
Fluent in English; Spanish is a strong plus.
