About seQura

seQura provides innovative, flexible and easy-to-use payment technologies that help merchants acquire, convert and retain more customers.

We make a difference in sales performance by tailoring our solutions to different sectors, to address their unique pain points and deliver superior results in Retail, Education (EduQa), Optics (OptiQa), Repairs and Travel.
We also empower smart shopping to consumers who seek more value, convenience, and flexibility in their shopping, with new payment experiences that allow them to save, access interest-free credit, or pay in small, comfortable installments of up to 24 months.

Born in Barcelona, seQura is a privately-owned fintech, currently expanding throughout southern Europe and Latin America, growing above 50% CAGR and approaching 100 Million in Annual Recurring Revenue.
Over 5000 businesses, almost 2 million shoppers, and almost 400 employees continue to rate us as one of the most loved and trusted fintechs out there, with an NPS of 87%, a Trustpilot rating of 4.7/5, and a Glassdoor rating of 4.7/5.

About the role 🤓

seQura is a leading European fintech specialised in flexible payment solutions (Buy Now Pay Later). As we scale our funding structures, we are looking for a detail-oriented and analytically driven Treasury Specialist to support the Head of Treasury by managing seQura’s Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) and Debt Facilities from a Treasury perspective.

This role sits at the intersection of our funding structures, treasury operations and accounting, and is designed to implement and operate our Treasury Management System (TMS), manage the daily treasury operations of all SPVs and Debt Facilities, reconcile every economic event end-to-end, and analyse the underlying data to ensure that all SPV-related cash flows, servicing fees and financial obligations are accurately captured, monitored and reported — both internally and to external stakeholders (lenders, trustees, security agents, calculation agents and auditors).

A core focus of the role is ensuring full operational and financial compliance with the Servicing Fee terms defined in each SPV’s transaction documents.

The ideal candidate thrives in an unstructured, data-intensive environment, is comfortable working across departments, and has hands-on experience implementing and running treasury management platforms — ideally EMBAT — and a working understanding of securitization or warehouse funding structures.

Job requirements

What challenges you'll be solving 🚀

Daily treasury operations: Manage cash positioning, drawdowns, repayments, interest, fees and waterfalls across all SPVs; ensure full segregation of SPV vs corporate funds; monitor covenants, triggers and eligibility criteria.

Servicing Fee compliance: Own the full lifecycle (calculation, accrual, invoicing, settlement, reconciliation) per each SPV's contractual terms, keeping audit-ready documentation and alignment with transfer pricing and regulation.

TMS implementation & operation: Lead rollout and configuration of the TMS for all SPVs/facilities, map bank accounts, debt instruments and covenants, and continuously improve automations, dashboards and integrations.

Cash flow reconciliation & analysis: Reconcile every economic event across bank statements, servicer reports, accounting and TMS with zero unmatched items; analyze variances, deviations and trends to generate insights for Finance leadership.

Accounting & reporting: Prepare monthly entries (accruals, amortizations, interest, FX) under local GAAP/IFRS, support month/year-end close, and contribute to reports for management, lenders, trustees and rating agencies.

Stakeholder management: Act as liaison between internal teams (Finance, Accounting, Legal, Risk, Collections) and external parties (banks, lenders, trustees, auditors), communicating fluently in English and Spanish.
